How to Use

Place the mold on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Insert a wick pin through the designated base point or thread a pre-waxed wick through the base hole and seal with mold sealer putty. Pour melted pillar wax at the appropriate temperature for your wax type (60–68°C / 140–155°F for paraffin pillar; 55–60°C / 131–140°F for beeswax). Allow to cool fully at room temperature — do not refrigerate. Top up any sinkholes as the wax contracts. Once fully set, peel the silicone away from the candle. Trim the wick to 5–7mm before burning.

What wax gives the best detail with these molds?
Beeswax and hard paraffin pillar wax both reproduce fine surface detail sharply. Natural ivory or warm honey-toned beeswax suits the Buddha form particularly well aesthetically. Soy pillar blends work but may show slightly softer detail on fine features such as the face and robe folds.

How much wax do I need?
Approximate wax quantities: Meditating Buddha (12cm) — ~250–300g; Blessing Buddha (13.5cm) — ~350–420g. Always melt more than you expect to need to allow for a top-up pour to fill any sinkhole that forms at the base as the wax cools.

Can I add fragrance to the wax?
