Details

  • Wick material: 100% natural cotton, pre-waxed — clean burning, low smoke
  • Metal sustainer tabs: 12.5mm stainless metal, pre-attached on wick variants
  • Compatible with soy wax, paraffin wax, beeswax, and coconut wax
  • Suitable for container candles, jar candles, tealights, and votives
  • Trim to 5–7mm above the wax surface before each burn

How to Use

Attach the metal sustainer tab to the base of your container using a wick sticker or a small dab of hot wax. Hold the wick upright using a wooden centering stick rested across the top of the container. Pour melted wax carefully and allow to cool fully without disturbing. Trim the wick to 5–7mm before the first burn.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which length should I choose?
Choose a wick length roughly equal to or slightly longer than the depth of your container. The wick sits from the base to just above the wax surface — you can always trim excess. For a standard 8cm deep jar, the 8cm or 10cm wick is right. For tall pillar-style jars, go with 15cm or 20cm.

What are the metal sustainer tabs for?
The metal tab at the base of the wick anchors it to the bottom of your container so it stays upright during pouring and doesn’t float in the melted wax. They are pre-attached on the wick variants. The standalone tab variant (100pcs) is for use with uncut wick spools where you need to add your own tabs.

Are these wicks pre-waxed?
Yes — the cotton has been coated in wax during manufacturing, making the wicks stiffer, easier to work with, and more reliable to light on the first burn.

Do these work with soy wax?
Yes — compatible with soy wax, paraffin, beeswax, and coconut wax. Keep in mind wick sizing also depends on container diameter and fragrance load, not just length. Test burn before committing to a full batch.

Why does the 100pcs variant look different?
The 100pcs option is metal sustainer tabs only — no wick cord included. These are 12.5mm replacement tabs for use when you’re cutting wicks from a spool and need to attach your own tabs, or if you need spares.
