Coconut wax has a low melting point and soft texture, making it best suited for container candles rather than freestanding pillar or taper candles. It produces a beautifully smooth, creamy surface and holds fragrance exceptionally well — typically 6–10% fragrance load. Add fragrance at around 65–70°C / 149–158°F and pour at approximately 50–55°C / 122–131°F. For a firmer blend, combine with 10–20% beeswax or a harder soy wax.

Is coconut wax better than soy wax?
