How to Use

1. Melt your wax fully and allow it to reach approximately 80°C / 176°F.
2. Add the dye chips and stir for about 15 seconds.
3. Scoop a small amount with a stirring spoon and check for clarity — if the wax is clear with no visible particles, the dye is fully dissolved.
4. If particles remain, continue stirring until fully dissolved before pouring.
5. Add fragrance oil after dye is fully dissolved, then pour at your usual pouring temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are dye chips the same as liquid dye?
Dye chips are a solid form of the same wax-soluble dye. They dissolve fully into hot wax just like liquid dye, leaving no particles behind. They are easier to store, have a longer shelf life, and are less likely to spill than liquid dyes. The finished color result is comparable.

Will dye chips clog my wick?
