This cotton embroidery floss is suitable for hand embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle (fine needle), and general needlework. It’s stranded cotton, so you can use 2–6 strands depending on your project.

How many strands should I use?
Standard embroidery floss has 6 strands. For cross stitch on 14CT Aida, use 2 strands. For hand embroidery, 2–6 strands depending on the stitch and desired boldness. Always separate the strands before threading your needle.

Are the colors colorfast?
Yes. The 100% cotton threads are colorfast and won’t bleed onto your fabric during normal use. Hand wash finished pieces gently in cool water if needed.

Is this thread compatible with DMC patterns?
This thread is cotton embroidery floss similar in weight and construction to DMC stranded cotton. While the colors may not be exact DMC color matches, the thread weight and strand count are compatible with DMC patterns and instructions.
