How to Use

After securing the wick tab to the base of your container, thread the wick through the hole in the centering stick. Rest the stick across the top of the container so it spans the opening. Adjust the wick position so it sits straight in the center of the container. Pour your wax and leave undisturbed until fully set. Remove the stick, trim the wick to 5–7mm, and the stick is ready to reuse on the next pour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I choose?
Match the stick length to your container diameter — the stick needs to span across the opening. The 11.5cm stick suits small jars and tealight cups. The 15cm stick covers most standard candle jars. The 18cm stick is best for larger containers and wide-mouth jars. When in doubt, go longer — a stick that’s slightly wider than your container will rest on the rim without falling in.

What’s the advantage of 5 holes vs 1 hole?
The 5-hole sticks (15 x 1.8cm) let you position the wick at different points across the stick, making them more flexible for containers of different widths. They’re also useful when making multiple-wick candles in a single wide container. Single-hole sticks are simpler and fine for standard single-wick pours.

What are the multicolor sticks for?
Beyond aesthetics, the colored sticks are handy for color-coding production batches — for example, using a specific color per fragrance, wick size, or wax type when making candles in bulk. This makes it easier to track which candle is which while cooling.

Are these reusable?
Yes — simply wipe or scrape any wax residue off after the candle has set and the sticks are ready to reuse. They can withstand many pours before needing replacement.

Do these work with wooden wicks?
Yes — wooden wicks are flat and can be threaded through the slot or hole just like cotton wicks. For wider wooden wicks, use the 1.8cm wide 5-hole stick which has more clearance than the narrow 1cm sticks.
