The material of the wax sheet is a mixture of beeswax and microcrystalline wax. The characteristic of wax is that it is brittle and prone to cracking at low temperatures. Before rolling the candle, please use a hot air blower to blow the wax sheet soft; when the temperature is high, the wax flakes are relatively soft and sticky. Handle them gently and store them in a cool and ventilated place. Do not expose them to direct sunlight!

Microcrystalline wax is used in beeswax candle making primarily to prevent white powdery surface oxidation (bloom), improve elasticity, and increase fragrance retention. As a flexible, tacky additive, it softens brittle beeswax, reduces shrinkage to prevent cracking, and acts as a binder to improve adhesion to containers, typically added in small proportions (1–10%).
