Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the bowl pot and the pitcher pot?
The 400ml bowl-style pot has a wide open top and a spout on each side, making it ideal for use as a double-boiler insert over hot water or for melting small amounts of wax. The 800ml straight-sided pot is a deeper container suited to melting larger quantities on the hot plate. The 900ml pitcher has a tall jug shape with a single spout and handle for controlled pouring directly into candle tins or molds.

Which kit is best for a beginner?
Kit 1 is the best starting point — it includes everything from the hot plate and pots through to tins, thermometer, wicks, and accessories. If you already have candle tins, Kit 2 or Kit 3 gives you the hot plate and pots without the extras.

Is this compatible with 220–240V outlets?
No — Kits 1, 2, and 3 include a 110V US plug only. They are not compatible with 220–240V outlets without a voltage converter. Kit 4 and Kit 5 do not include a hot plate and have no voltage requirement.
