How to Use
Tape the back of the frame with resin tape or set it face-down on a silicone mat. Fill the open area with resin, add glitter, dried flowers, or crystal chips, then cure. Once set, remove the tape and attach a jump ring through the hang loop to connect to a chain, earring wire, or keychain clip.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will resin stick to the metal frame?
Yes — resin bonds well to zinc alloy. No primer or prep is needed. The open-back design means resin fills the cavity and cures flush with or slightly proud of the frame edge, creating a secure bond.
How do I stop resin from leaking out the back?
Place the bezel face-up on a silicone mat (resin won’t stick to silicone) or seal the back with resin tape before filling. Fill slowly in thin layers to avoid overflow.
Can I add inclusions like dried flowers or glitter?
Yes — these bezels are ideal for encasing dried flowers, glitter, crystal chips, foil flakes, and other small inclusions. Fill with a base layer of resin, add inclusions, then seal with a top layer and cure.
Do I need to sand or finish the back after curing?
If resin overflows slightly onto the back, it can be sanded smooth once fully cured using fine-grit wet/dry sandpaper. For a gloss finish, apply a thin seal coat of UV resin and cure.
What jump ring size fits the hang loop?
Most frames work well with a 4–6mm jump ring. The exact fit will depend on the style — we recommend using round-nose pliers to open and close jump rings securely.
