The blue color of Part B acts as a mixing indicator — knead until the putty is a uniform color with no white streaks, then you know it’s fully mixed and ready to use. Available in two kit sizes — the 120g kit (2 × 60g jars) is ideal for small objects and testing, while the 260g kit (2 × 130g jars) suits medium objects and repeat casting.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much putty do I need for my object?
You need enough putty to cover the object with at least 3–5mm of wall thickness on all sides. Small items such as coins, buttons, charms, and small flowers work well with the 120g kit. Medium items such as small figurines, shells, or pendants suit the 260g kit. For larger objects, purchase multiple kits.
What is the difference between this and the orange silicone putty kit?
Both are two-part silicone mold putty kits with identical specs — same mix ratio, working time, and cure time. The difference is the color of Part B (blue here, orange in the other kit) and the brand (TDIY). The color is purely a mixing indicator and does not affect the finished mold. Choose either based on your preference.
Can I use this mold putty with resin?
Yes — once cured, the silicone mold is compatible with UV resin, epoxy resin, and polyester resin. Silicone is naturally non-stick so no mold release spray is needed. Simply pour your mixed resin into the mold and cure as per your resin instructions.
Is the mold reusable?
Yes — cured silicone putty molds are flexible and reusable. With careful use they can produce many casts. Avoid sharp tools or overstretching the mold when demolding to extend its lifespan.
